Young Adult Individual (age 18-25)
Being a young adult in today's world comes with issues our parents never experienced. Exploring the world after high school can be daunting with questions such as university vs trades, what should I do with my life, career counselling, relationships, sexuality and gender, climate change, political pressures and the change of friendship groups. Christy is familiar with all of these conversations and enjoys supporting her clients through this transition.
Teen Individual (age 13-17)
Working with teens requires knowledge not only of their unique developmental stages but also current issues they are facing at school such as procrastination, academic issues, being savvy about current affairs and world politics, an ability to discuss existential concerns and philosophy, to be computer-literate, to understand social media and culture plus delivering all of these conversations in a manner that is receptive to today's youth.
